NEW NVIDIA TEGRA 2 vs APPLE A5

Apple A5 VS. Nvidia Tegra 2, I want to know what you guys think about the new A5 CPU. The Nvidia Tegra 2 is already on the market, it has been tested and people are loving it. So my question is what do you think,is the A5 going to compeat with the Tegra 2? Both on CPU performance and on GPU performance. I will also use a pole to see what you guys like better. ?

CPU performance would be around the Same
We don't know yet the RAM on iPad 2, but if it is dual channel it will be better than Tegra 2 in that aspect as well.

GPU performance is when things get fun, where the claimed Apple performance would give it a 1.5x to 2x times the Power. We have yet to see a the tear-down though and some benchs

Other than that yeah A5 pretty much equals CPU performance, Surpasses Graphics performance. And we have to wait for the Ram specs

Though people got to keep in mind that Tegra 2 is a 2009 SoC that was supposed to get into mass production by 2010. By the Second half of this year it is expected Tegra 3 (aka Kal-El) behemoth will go into mass production.

By the time Tegra 3 is in mass production, Apple would have started the A7 chip, which houses a quad-core CPU and quad-core GPU design, and it'll very likely be the one to power the Retina Display iPad 3.

That much horsepower means it'll be able to keep up with the ultra high resolution while providing a similar performance reference as the iPad 2 or better. One thing is for sure, though: it'll still mope the floor with Tegra 3. nVidia is already behind the curve as it is. Whereas nVidia's main business is to focus on graphics performance for different platforms (desktop, portable, and mobile), Apple's made it abundantly clear that they want to focus on iOS this year.
